About this piece
The distinctive and expertly crafted Billiani "Blue" Timber Chair combines traditional woodworking with contemporary design. Features a sturdy frame with ergonomic contours for optimal comfort and support. The beautiful curves add a sophisticated accent to dining rooms, offices, or creative spaces while maintaining the natural beauty of the timber construction.
Since 1911, Billiani has combined contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship to produce chairs in curved wood with caning. The family-run factory was located in the heart of what was to become the chair district after World War II.
Towards the end of the 1990s Luigi Billiani, named after his grandfather and trained as an architect, decided to bring design into the company’s repertoire, and together with his wife Veronik Romanutti he created Billiani as it is today.
