Unbranded Japanese serving tray and cheese board from the 1970s, marked “CHERRY”. A rectangular, moulded hard plastic tray with rounded corners and a yellow enamel finish, set with an inlaid 11 cm x 11 cm ceramic tile that functions as a cutting surface or trivet. The tile is hand-decorated with an orange and yellow flower motif, presenting a mid-century modern style.
Retains the original gold-on-metallic-red oval “Made in Japan” sticker on the base. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula. In original packaging, opened and damaged; unused.
