This is a good quality genuine antique French 19th century ‘Farm House’ Table. The top is of rectangular form and is comprised desirably from only four wide planks / boards of solid Cherry Wood of lovely light ‘honey’ colour and at either end of the table are ‘bread board’ ends at right angles to the main boards. Beneath the top is a full apron which has a drawer at either end with iron drawer pull knobs. The table is supported on four nicely turned legs which are all structurally connected by an ‘H’ shaped stretcher.
Condition: All in all excellent condition considering its age and use. The table may be a little low as is often the case and our professional restorer will discretely raise the height with subtle turnings to the bottom of the legs. The table was photographed just as it arrived a little dusty however will clean and wax up beautifully with a lovely patina.
