About this piece
$1100 /pair
A pair of authentic retro 1970s Space Age ceiling lights, embodying the bold, futuristic optimism of the era.
Each light features a striking round profile with a brushed silver aluminium disc frame, clean-lined and beautifully minimal. A true nod to the Space Age design movement that dominated interiors during the 1970s. The exposed original NEC circular fluorescent tube sits proudly on the frame, celebrating the industrial aesthetic rather than concealing it. It’s functional design made sculptural.
The aluminium retains a lovely soft sheen, adding to their understated yet impactful presence. Perfect for a mid-century, modernist or retro-inspired interior, these lights make a statement without overwhelming a space.
Both pieces remain in original condition with their original electrical components and are currently untested.
A rare matching pair — increasingly hard to find in this beautifully preserved, honest vintage state.
