This is a beautifully crafted piece of italian furniture now probably old enough to refer to correctly as a genuine antique. It is a Drinks cabinet / Cocktail Cabinet from the 1920s of oval form with a pair of curved doors which when opened reveal the fitted interior.
The cabinet is finished in quality Mahogany and the oval top and front door panels are profusely and intricately inlaid with book leaf matched Satinwood tracery and foliage. The curved end and back panels have multiple intricate inlaid banding with highly figured Mahogany panels within. At either end centred is a classical maiden.
All supported on four short shaped and inlaid feet.
Condition: Structurally sound however the old polish has crazed and it would benefit from a professional re polish which we can organise.
