Dated 1796, (which is carved into the bottom), this amazing 18th century Armoire is a treasure for generations more.
It’s not often we get our hands on magnificent pieces of this scale. Most items of this stature remain with families for generations. So, with luck and a bit of magic this magnificent heirloom could be yours.
A fine quality 18th century French Wedding Armoire in walnut with rare hand carved chalice and wheat motifs. The sides have raised panels and the original hardware includes large hand forged hinges and escutcheon.
This beautiful WOW piece is perfect for storing all your beautiful china and glassware or use for your linens.
Dated 1796 which is carved into the timber this armoire came from a chateau in Provence. The shelves and doors are lined with French toile fabric.
We have never seen an armoire as beautiful as this.

Locking mechanism in working order, elegant and beautifully crafted, perfectly aged condition for a piece this old and rare - 228 years old.
Patination and borer holes, as is de rigour with old French pieces.
