  This is a good example of a hard to find genuine antique English Georgian period later 1700s / early 1800s two height bow fronted Corner Cabinet constructed in Pine and then decorated with a red lacquer and gilt Chinese scenes in an art form referred to as Chinoiserie due to the fascination of all things Oriental in the 18th century.

  Original genuine antique period Chinoiserie embellished furniture is highly prized and sought after for use as statement pieces in homes by leading decorators.

  Condition: Over all very good for age. The gilt art work is excellent and there just are a few small areas to be professionally detailed on the base platform and this work is included in the price.
