This is a genuine antique English late 1700s George III period CORNER CABINET of Pine construction with an excellent Chinoiserie finish with raised details. The cabinet cornice is nicely profiled and arched which compliments the arching of the recessed top door panel. The lower cabinet door has a rectangular recessed panel. Inside both the upper and lower cabinets are removable shelves which may be adjusted. The corners are champhered and the whole is supported on straight bracket feet.
The Chinoiserie finish is a black lacquer ground with raised gilt Chinese scenes.
Condition: Very good commensurate with age and use. The cabinet has minor ware to the lacquer on the base however professional detailing is included in the price.
