As a competent production potter, Michaela established her own studio pottery in 1986. In 1990 her work moved from the purely functional to special exhibition pieces. Michaela has exhibited both nationally and internationally and she has won numerous awards including the prestigious Gold Coast 3D Art Design Award in 2004. As life itself, Michaela 's work is ever changing and evolving.
She is a dynamic teacher and students benefit from her knowledge and her passion for the subject. A pottery study tour to China in 2008 provided the inspiration for her series of the "not so ancient " 3-legged vessels and ceramic pillows. (Https://www.facebook.com/MichaelaDieterKloeckner/)
This pot is quite whimsical with 4 women's legs serving as the stand for the pot. The legs are in perfect proportion. What a magnificent centre piece this would be. It measures 23 cm high, the depth of the actual bowl is 12 cm and 20 cm in diameter. Great care is taken when packaging all fragile items.
