Overview
An exquisite, museum-quality statement piece of traditional East Javanese craftsmanship. This authentic antique Madurese wedding bed (Ranjang Madura or Dipan Madura) features hand-carved solid teak construction with original polychrome lacquering, vermilion red tones, and hand-gilded gold leaf detailing.
Featuring traditional Peranakan Chinese geometric fretwork combined with classic Javanese floral and animal relief motifs, this enclosed canopy bed sits on dramatic "Lion's Paw" (Kaki Macan) cabriole legs. A magnificent focal point for high-end interior spaces, boutique accommodation, or fine art collections.
