About this piece
Fabulous pair of mid century 1960s Parker teak bedside tables. Featuring sleek lines and beautifully refined style. A great example of Australian mid century design.
In professionally restored condition. This piece has been restored in a large dedicated workshop to a superior finish using a third party professional restoration service. The professional restorer is highly respected in the business who is meticulous and takes pride in his work.
The process involves removing the original finish on the exterior, then treating any marks or blemishes and refinishing with a satin finish catalyzed protective lacquer.
The new finish is superior to many you will see advertised and is considered both scratch and water resistant in comparison with the majority of other finishes. This means maintenance of the table is very low effort and will be well preserved into the future.
