About this piece
Description: This antique English mahogany cabinet, made by Evans & Owens Limited of Bath, England, is a versatile piece that can be used as a bedside cabinet, lamp cupboard or hall cabinet. Beautifully crafted, it features a low wavy scalloped gallery above the top, adding an elegant finishing touch while helping to prevent items from sliding off the surface.
The single cupboard door is enhanced with reeded vertical detailing and fitted with a traditional brass pull handle. The rich mahogany timber displays attractive grain, making this a practical storage piece that complements both traditional and contemporary interiors.
The cupboard provides useful internal storage with an upper compartment measuring 28 cm high and a lower compartment measuring 30 cm high.
