About this piece
A mid 17th century English oak Court or food & wine storage cabinet, this exceptional piece showcases intricate craftsmanship with carved detailed motifs depicting mythical sea dragons on the two top cupboard doors, flanking a central "Tree of Life" carving. Complemented by beautifully carved floral themes on the base cupboard doors and frame, the cabinet embodies the rich artistry of its era. Bearing a carved date of 1701, its likely this date is associated with a later ceremonial occasion. Ideally suited for wine bar/restaurant or Cellar door business. Or maybe, your own private wine cellar/bar area.
