About this piece
An exceptional Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d'Arte bullicante bowl, beautifully executed in a delicate rose-pink sommerso glass.
This sculptural Murano piece perfectly captures the genius of Flavio Poli's work: a harmonious balance between geometry and organic form. The softly folded rim creates a dynamic four-point silhouette, while the thick crystal-clear glass reveals an extraordinary field of precisely controlled bullicante bubbles suspended throughout the body of the piece.
The colour is particularly captivating. A luminous blush pink creating remarkable depth and light play from every angle.
At 18 cm wide, 8 cm high, and weighing approximately 1.2 kg, this is a substantial example with beautiful presence despite its relatively compact footprint.
The bullicante decoration is especially successful, forming a rhythmic pattern that enhances both the transparency and sculptural qualities of the glass. Viewed from above, the piece displays a stunning interplay of symmetry and movement, a hallmark of the finest Seguso designs.
Good vintage condition.
Light surface wear consistent with age and careful use.
Two small chips, discreet and visually blend into the surrounding bullicante decoration, remaining largely unnoticed during display.
No cracks or repairs observed. Priced accordingly.
