The design celebrates contrast— solid wood framing paired with soft, enveloping cushions— creating a chair that feels both architectural and inviting.
The example is offered in original condition, retailing its original upholstery (which has been cleaned), while still maintaining its lived-in character consistent with age and use. The solid oak timber frame remains in very good condition with beautiful grain and warm tone throughout. A manufacturer’s Carl Hansen & Søn label is present beneath the seat, confirming authenticity.
