This upholstered armchair follows the structural language introduced by Italian designer Mario Bellini in the late twentieth century, where leather or leatherette wraps the entire frame to create a continuous shell rather than a separate seat and structure. The folded edge seams, integrated arms and leather clad legs reflect the approach developed for Bellini’s Cab seating series, which became one of the most recognisable expressions of Italian modern furniture design.
Finished here in a soft rose blush leatherette, the chair presents a confident colour statement while maintaining the disciplined geometry associated with Italian modern seating.
