Description: This impressive antique English twin-pedestal desk is crafted from richly figured mahogany and offers the generous proportions and refined craftsmanship associated with quality English furniture. The desk is fitted with brass handles throughout and conveniently separates into three sections for transport, comprising the top and two pedestal bases. The pull-out writing surface is inset with three tooled leather panels, providing an attractive and practical work area. Above the writing surface, the interior is thoughtfully arranged with seven pigeonholes and six small drawers, offering excellent storage for stationery, correspondence, and office accessories. A brass name plaque engraved "D M Cunningham" is fitted to the desk and may be removed if preferred. With its substantial scale, high-quality mahogany construction, and practical layout, this is an outstanding desk for a home office, executive workspace, or library, combining functionality with the character and craftsmanship of an antique English piece.
