Cordon Salon is a studio founded in 2018 that uses research, collaboration and experimentation to explore alternative approaches to contemporary art, craft and design. Working across collectable furniture and object design, the practice often focuses on overlooked, forgotten or ubiquitous processes and materials, reimagined and shown in a different light.
The studio has developed work for local and international clientele and exhibited across Melbourne Design Week, Melbourne Design Fair, Sydney Design Week and Craft Contemporary. Exhibitions include Sophie Gannon Gallery, Oigall Projects, Craft Victoria, and The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia as part of Melbourne Now.
