Angie Goto is a Deaf Australian artist known for her distinctive interpretations of her surroundings through figurative and abstract art. Born Deaf, she brings a unique perspective to colour, imagery, and form. Angie studied Fine Art and Graphic Design in Newcastle and Sydney.
Her return to painting was marked by the short film Angie, which was a finalist at Tropfest in 2015. Since then, she has held successful solo exhibitions in Australia and internationally, including at 19 Karen Gallery (Queensland), Art To Art Gallery (Melbourne), and Dyer Arts Center (New York).
