A very fine quality set of four genuine antique English William IV Dining Chairs circa 1835 hand made by craftsmen from prestigious imported Central American Rosewood from Brazil. The ‘show timber’ frames showing the transition from rail backs to shaped ‘kidney’ backs. The top and uprights are reeded and the lower waist rail is embellished with quality carved apposed folate scrolls. The seat rails are well shaped and profiled being serpentine in form on the sides and bowed at the front. The front turned legs are elegantly tapered and reeded. The expensive red and green French woven horsehair upholstery with a brass studded finish is of superb quality and the whole are in extremely desirable condition.

Condition: Excellent - the frames are solid and retain the original polish and the seats are webbed and padded with hand rolled and stitched edges The upholstery iw also in excellent condition.
