This is another excellent example of a genuine antique English hand painted and gilt Urn shaped Vase (with lid) being professionally converted into a very decorative and practical Table Lamp by the inclusion of a brass bulb holder, rewired using twisted silk covered lead and a turned and gilded well profiled timber base for stability. The body is attractively painted with birds flowers and leaves and is embellished with the gilt side handles and shaped base.
