Details

This is a good example of a genuine antique English early 1800s George III combination Sewing Table / Lamp Table / Occasional Table / Side Table in prestigious imported Central / South American Rosewood and with lighter timber fine line inlays to the top and the drawer fronts. It would also be appropriate to refer to the table as a Pembroke Table as it has its drop down sides

There are two full width stacked and flush fitting drawers at one end and identical faux drawers at the other end. Beneath is a pull out frame which has a small suspended fabric ‘bag’ for the sewing materials and darning wool. The legs are elegant being turned and tapered plus featuring multiple clusters of ring turnings. Complete with the original all brass castor assemblies.

Condition: Excellent for age.

Size: Width 39cm x Depth 46cm x Height 74cm.

Sellers Observation: This is a good one and they are very versatile little tables including being used as a bed side tables.
