Afors was founded in Smaland, Sweden in 1876 and produced glassware under the ‘Afors’ label until it was sold to Kosta Boda in 1976.
This hourglass shaped vase has a clear stem and was produced in a lovely deep amethyst colour.
It is a striking piece standing at 33.5cm tall, and is in great condition with no chips or cracks. It still has the Afors sticker on the base.
