About this piece
Descriptions:
This rectangular storage box is crafted from solid hardwood and features a detailed hand-carved relief on the front depicting two caparisoned elephants. The two front upper corners are embellished with carved animal head protomes, and the interior is divided into three fixed storage compartments. The wooden lid opens to reveal the natural grain and a rustic knot detail on the interior surface. The box exhibits minor natural wood variations and surface textures consistent with handmade vintage woodwork, making it a functional, freestanding piece for decorative display or specialized organization.
