The Colors Easy Chair and matching Ottoman, designed by Ilkka Suppanen for Zanotta (Italy) in the late 1990s. This iconic piece is celebrated for its sculptural, three-section form and slender, continuous tubular steel frame. This specific set features the signature warm-tone gradient upholstery—transitioning from vibrant red to deep orange and bright yellow.
This example presents well and maintains its striking visual impact. The wool cushions have been professionally cleaned. While the overall appearance is clean, some darker marks remain on the orange cushion (second from top) which do not lift with further treatment. Consistent with the age of the wool textile, a few small holes are present. The frame is in good condition, and the chair remains a comfortable, stable, and highly collectible design statement.
