Finn Østergaard was born in 1946 and graduated as a furniture architect from the Art School’s Furniture Department in 1975.
He applied himself to a wide range of mediums, such as ship-building, the development of carpets, lamps and of course, traditional Scandinavian furniture of the finest quality and design.
Finn Østergaard was still active and constantly designing new products for Danish and foreign factories until his passing in 2023.
This ‘Albert’ lounge chair is composed of birch ply bentwood frame and a beige braided saddle upholstery.
This piece is in very good vintage condition, with only a light attractive patina to the canvas webbing. Put simply, this is a comfortable, light-weight, well-pitched chair.
