About this piece
Dating to the early 1970s, this hand formed fibreglass sunlounger reflects the experimental Space Age design language that transformed furniture into fluid continuous form. Its low elongated body rises into a dramatically swept backrest, while integrated legs and subtle arm contours carry the structure through a single uninterrupted profile. Few sunloungers from the period unite this length, colour and uncompromising moulded construction, giving the piece a commanding futuristic presence beside a pool or within a contemporary interior.
