The firm WH Tandy and Sons were prominent Birmingham jewellers and silversmiths in the late 19th and early 20th century, with this ring likely being crafted in the first quarter of the 20th century. It is possible that the ring has utilised stones that have been pulled from an older piece of jeweller, as they are an older cut than was typically used at the time.
