Psyche Standing Mirror - Yasu Sasamoto, Dulton, Li-Qian, Japan, 70's
Original industrial mirror from the famed 'Dulton' range by Yasu Sasamoto for Li Qian, Japan, 1970's. Noted for its quality craftsmanship, industrial aesthetic and functional design.
The mirror can be tilted, raised/lowered vertically and rotated 360 degrees. It is also on four castors and can be moved with ease. Absolutely stunning piece, and a great focal / talking point in any room. It really shines.
This piece was sourced as new "dead" stock, having only ever been used as a display piece in a hairdressing warehouse in Melbourne. Sitting idle for some 50 years. Incredible really!

Great vintage condition for its age.
The chrome and painted surfaces have just been cut and polished.
The mirror's mechanisms are tight due to age, however still adjust into all positions. There is light sun-fading on the red paint, softening it to more of a pinky red shade. Very light pitting in some of the chrome, as-well as some very light nicks and scratches in the paint job. The wheels attached to the mirror are also worn, but glide perfectly. Any imperfections are very difficult to notice and were equally difficult to photograph.
