This is a highly decorative and practical Vintage French Standard lamp / Floor Lamp to add character to a room with mood lighting.Mostly cast and wrought brass it is finished in very decorative Louis Xv manner Pressed Brass mask heads and foiiate leaf scrolls.
The central column is adjustable. The brass has been polished and lacquered decades ago and the finish is now more aged and mellowed. Also the Lamp has been rewired in recent times with a twisted silk covered lead.
