Details
Gorgeous original vintage 1950s velvet chesterfield lounge in a stunning rich turquoise. It was purchased in the late 1950s from an interior design studio and furniture and homewares store in North Sydney named Cabana, run by the then famed interior designer Joyce Tebbutt. There’s some some fading on the top of the arms, a little discolouration along the top on the rear of the lounge, and some small spot of wear on the rear left hand corner. Pictures are included. It is otherwise in wonderful condition. The cushions are still plush, supportive, and comfortable as it was very much a beloved “look but don’t touch” piece in the home of the original owners.
On the underside is some stamping that looks like it was the brand and perhaps model number info. It has faded, though, and not legible but photos have been included.
