In black basalt, decorated with en grisaille painting of Orpheus seated on a rock, playing his lyre. His playing and singing were so beautiful that even animals came to listen, such as this stag.
Not marked, but it's Wedgwood decoration on a Wedgwood shape and I'm quite certain of the attribution.
