A spontaneous, energetic and intuitive artist, Leisl's approach is physical and deliberate; applying thick layers of paint to board and then working to capture the ever-shifting energy, light and atmosphere of a place or scene.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLeisl has been a finalist in several Australian Art Prices including the Hadley's Prize for Landscape, the Paddington Art Price (multiple), the Waverley Art Award, the Pro Hart Outback Art Award and the Clayton Utz Art Prize. Her work is also featured in the 2018 Thames \u0026amp; Hudson publication 'A Painted Landscape' by Amber Creswell Bell.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLeisl's originals we currenlty have in store reflects the quiet beauty of regional Queensland.
