The set is in Ridgway's Savoy shape and is decorated with an edge pattern of alternating pale yellow and maroon panels, from which hang hand coloured floral sprays. The set is finished off with extensive gilding. Other than the pattern number 5\/346, the set is unmarked.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Savoy shape is illustrated in Plate 143, page 128 of Godden's \"Ridgway Porcelains\". The cup shape is shown in Plate 1167 of Berthoud's \"Compendium of British Cups\". The plates have a diameter of 250 mm (10 inches) and the slop bowl measures 180 mm (7 inches) in diameter and stands 84 mm (3.25 inches) high. The set is in very good condition with minimal wear to the gilding.
