With its graceful cabriole legs and decorative ormolu mounts, this games table can be multifunctional and used as a statement side table.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe top of the table features wondrous marquetry inlays, in stunning floral sprays and motifs with patterned swirls and curls borrowed from the Rococo period. The ebonised timber forms a contrasting backdrop to the lighter timber inlays. It has rounded and curved lines, which have been finished with immaculate ormolu edging. The side panels are also inlaid with marquetry floral decorations – French craftsmanship at its best. The mounts are all gilt and cast beautifully, with cherubs adorning the legs.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe table opens up to reveal a fully felted interior, perfect for that game of cards or checkers. There is hidden storage underneath the tabletop that is perfect for storing game items. At present the table will need to be re-felted for its new owner due to fabric wear.
