Kumela Glass was a smaller Finnish glass manufacturer, based in Riihimaki, and founded in 1933. The company predominantly produced household and utility glass, with key designers Kaj Blomqvist (1939-), Pentti Sarpaneva (1925-78) and Armando Jacobino (1922-70) having worked at the company across the mid-century period.
This high impact design is floral in shape and is just lovely. It has the original sticker still intact.
The vase is made of solid mould-blown crystal in Green tones and is absolutely stunning. In very good condition for its age. It is 10cm tall and 19,5cm in diameter.
