Georg Jensen founded his silversmith workshop in Copenhagen in 1904, and the Danish house is known for working with leading designers. Stainless steel gives the sculptural look of its silver hollowware without the tarnish.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe form is fluid and organic, in the same tradition as the bowls Henning Koppel designed for the house in the mid twentieth century. The raised foot lifts it off the surface, so light and reflection play across the steel.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe polished finish reflects its surroundings, so the bowl picks up the colours of the table, the timber and the light around it. In a bright room it holds window light, and in the evening it catches candles.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eUse it for fruit, bread rolls or nuts, or leave it empty as an object. Beside teak, the cool steel and warm timber make a good pairing.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTo clean, wash by hand in warm water with mild soap and dry with a soft cloth.
