A copper coloured glaze was applied to a high fired stoneware body that Doulton named Silicon Ware. Designed to simulate old copper items, Copper Ware pieces feature very realistic seams, rivets, dents and verdigris that would be found on old copper utensils. They carry the model number X4759 as well as the Silicon Ware impressed stamp.
