Because the rocking base stopped so much earlier than the stationary swivel and dining versions, genuine RAR rockers are meaningfully scarcer today than other Eames shell chairs; most of what turns up on the secondary market is the swivel or dining base, not this one. The ivory shell has been professionally reupholstered in a coral orange Zepel Fibreguard fabric, a durable, stain-resistant weave, finished with the original black vinyl edge trim, giving it real presence without losing the shell's original silhouette underneath.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eVery good condition, with no damage, just minor marks consistent with age.
