Antique Japanese Gilt Bronze Candlestick Circa 1865

Japanese gilt bronze Shokudai (candle holder), circa 1865, of a circular form with a stylised dragon head handle on the rim, three engraved scrolling foliage groups decorated on the flat rim, some gilt faded, base marked Dai Yamasaki Yamasho.
