The drawer fronts are arranged with striking bookmatched veneers, with further figured mahogany to the top, stiles and plinth. Each drawer is centred by a small brass escutcheon, the whole raised on turned bun feet.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe surface has been lightly and sympathetically restored, retaining the original character and expected signs of age. There are scattered marks, scratches and minor edge wear, including historic wear to the top, consistent with age and use.
