This is a lovely, most unusual, decorative and highly practical quality, versatile, genuine antique English last quarter of the 19th century Victorian period Occasional Table / Lamp Table / Wine table comprising of a circular top, a centre column which is well turned and profiled plus the upper section is embellished with vertical flutes and a carved lower ‘tulip’ shaped Acanthus carving and a lower ring turning. The lower column has a reeded ring turning and complimentary plainer turnings. From the vertical cylindrical base flow three shaped and tapered cabriole legs in tripod formation and embellished with folate carved knees and folate carved scrolled toes complete with original brown porcelain and brass castor assemblies beneath.

The unusual feature of this table is the quadruped and spindle galleried revolving centre tier which makes the table versatile as it can be used for glasses, bottles or books.

Condition: Overall excellent for age and use. There are a few minor marks on the top surface due to use however we will have the top surface professionally refurbished.
