Set of 2- Aristoc Chairs, manufactured in the early 1960s.
These are complete one offs and won't be found elsewhere.
Have been completely reconditioned, with a contemporary aesthetic.
The tubular steel frames are incredibly sturdy, and aren't made to this standard in Australia anymore. They have been stripped and painted with enamel paint in a splatter detail.
Seat and back have been re foamed, and re-upholstered in premium Kvadrat x Raf Simons 'Silas' fabric. This is a 70% wool, 30% Nylon blend and was priced at $340 per metre.
Chair cap components are the originals have been stripped and re-chromed.
New internal feet on frames.
These chairs will easily last another 50 years.
